On the afternoon of September 16, 2022, within the framework of the CFA Institute Research Challenge Vietnam 2022 – 2023, a meeting took place at the main headquarters of Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank), Vincom Ba Trieu, between the competing teams and representatives of the bank. Representing Techcombank were Mr. Alexandre Macaire – Director of the Finance Division, along with other senior leaders, while the CFA Vietnam Community was represented by Ms. Do Thi Xuan – Member of the executive committee, along with participants from all competing teams either in-person or online.
During the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to hear from senior leaders of Techcombank about the bank, while also listening to Techcombank representatives address the inquiries of the participants regarding the bank’s vision, development strategy, issues on financial reports, risk management, and more. This was an extremely important activity that allowed participants of the competition to get closer to and gain a deeper understanding of this year’s CFA Institute Research Challenge theme company.
The Department of Finance – Banking wishes the CFA Institute Research Challenge 2022 – 2023 great success, and hopes that the team representing the Foreign Trade University – Main Campus in Hanoi will achieve the best results.
