Are you the next quant champion?
The International Quant Championship is an annual competition organized by WorldQuant, with the aim of finding talented individuals to participate in the development of sustainable global investment strategies. This year, the competition is under the expert sponsorship of the School of International Economics and in cooperation with the Student Support Center, promising to be one of the most valuable and enriching platforms for those interested in and passionate about the field of Quantitative Finance. This competition is expected to provide valuable knowledge and lessons to all participants.
The International Quant Championship consists of three stages, with participants forming teams to compete against each other from March to September 2024. Using the web-based simulation platform of WorldQuant BRAIN, the contestants will accumulate points by utilizing historical market data and pre-defined operators to simulate stock trading states and generate Alpha* (WorldQuant defines “Alpha” as mathematical models with the ability to predict future price movements of various financial instruments).
By participating in the International Quant Championship 2024, contestants will receive the following benefits:
– The total cash prize pool is up to $400,000 USD.
– Winners will have the opportunity to be hired as a Research BRAIN Consultant at WorldQuant.
– The finalists will receive tickets to attend the International Championship event in Singapore.
– Teams must consist of 1 to 4 members. All team members must be from the same university (students, alumni, or lecturers).
Here are the steps to participate in the International Quant Championship 2024:

STEP 2: Register to participate in the International Quant Championship 2024.
STEP 3: Form a team of 1-4 members from the same university.
STEP 4: Submit your alpha models and accumulate points.
