On December 18, 2017, at Lien Viet room, Faculty of Finance – Banking held a scientific conference “Financial solutions for development of supporting industries in Vietnam” within the framework of science and technology topic Ministry level “Research on financial solutions to develop supporting industry in Vietnam” led by Dr. Duong Thi Hong Van.
Attending the conference, on the side of the Faculty of Finance and Banking, there were Assoc. Prof, Dr. Nguyen Viet Dung – Dean of the Faculty and scientists, project members and lecturers of the Faculty. The seminar also had the participation of Mr. Dau Anh Tuan – Head of Legal Department of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry – VCCI.
At the beginning of the seminar, the topic leader – Dr. Duong Thi Hong Van highlighted the importance of financial solutions to develop supporting industries in Vietnam. The presentations in the conference focused on 3 main contents: The current situation of small and medium enterprises in general and supporting industry enterprises in particular; Experience in developing the supporting industry of countries around the world; Capital financing policy of supporting industry enterprises in Vietnam. The discussions have received many positive feedbacks from scientists in order to clarify the research results of the authors. This is the basis for the research team to complete the topic before acceptance.
After nearly 3 hours of discussion, the seminar “Financial solutions for the development of supporting industries in Vietnam” succeeded.
