Inauguration and Handover of FTU-MB DIGITAL HUB CREATIVE SPACE

On the morning of March 9, 2021, NTU and Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate and hand over the FTU-MB Digital Hub.

Attending the ceremony on MB’s side were Ms. Tran Thi Bao Que – Member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Vu Thanh Trung – Member of the Board of Management, managers of some units and officers and employees. On the side of FTU, there were Assoc. Prof, Dr. Bui Anh Tuan – President, Assoc., Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy – Chairman of the Board of Directors, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Pham Thu Huong – Vice President, leader of Faculty of Finance – Banking, Department of Training Management, Department  of Communications & Public Relations and a number of other units, along with officials and lecturers of the University.

Along with the inauguration of the Digital Creative Space located on the 1st floor of building B, the development of professional content and activities using this space for lecturers and students has achieved positive results: 2 new subjects Financial Technology (Fintech) and Applied Personal Finance developed by the Faculty of Finance and Banking in collaboration with MB have officially been added to the University’s 4 training programs since November 2020. With these subjects, students will learn and practice many new contents associated with the practical application of technology in the field of financial services today such as: non-physical cards, online loans, money transfer without financial resources. account; applying artificial intelligence (AI) to face recognition in eKYC (online customer identification), to digitize documents; personal financial management application… In addition, many of the content in the existing subjects will have a practical part in the Digital Experience Space. In addition to lectures and practice with live applications at Digital Hub, MB Bank is also supporting the FBF to build case studies close to the bank’s operations to help students get hands-on experiences.
