FTU DIGITAL HUB – DIGITAL BANK EXPERIENCE SPACE AT FOREIGN TRADE UNIVERSITY

Recently, within the framework of cooperation between Foreign Trade University and Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB), the Faculty of Finance and Banking had a meeting with MB’s digital banking experts at the new headquarters 63 Le. Van Luong to realize professional content for the FTU Digital Hub Project – a breakthrough from the initiative of the University’s leaders on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of its establishment to bring digital technology into teaching, keeping up with the trend era 4.0.

FBF have directly tested the application of modern technology to banking services such as: non-physical cards, super-fast online loans, money transfer without an account; applying artificial intelligence (AI) to face recognition in eKYC (online customer identification), to digitize documents, to score credit using big data on social networks; personal financial management simulation software and many more…

With these technology applications, a number of new subjects are being developed such as Fintech, Personal Financial Management and many contents in current subjects such as Technology application in finance – banking, Principles of Banking activities, Banking credit, Financial risk management… will have practical sessions in Digital Hub at FTU. In addition, MB’s banking experts will also support the Faculty in developing a number of case studies with high problem-solving ability, derived from practice in the field of finance and banking to include in the curriculum to improve the quality of teaching.

We hope that the students majoring in finance and banking, especially the High-Quality Program and the Advanced Program, will soon experience interesting and practical subjects and practical applications in this 4.0 era.
