The CFA Institute Research Challenge is an international contest organized by CFA Academy every year in the world. The competition is organized on each level: national, regional and global. This is a competition for students with career orientation on financial investment. At the request of the competition, the teams performed stock valuation analysis and writing reports and presentations in English before a panel of high-level domestic and foreign financial experts.
In Vietnam, universities organise recruiting and set up a representative team to test the area in the North and the South, then choose the team representing Vietnam to take the regional round contest. Recently, the Faculty of Finance and Banking has organized a selection of the team representing the Foreign Trade University to participate in the contest and achieve certain results: second in Vietnam, first in Vietnam and Top 4 Asia – Pacific Region.
Following that achievement, the Faculty of Finance and Banking continues to organise selections to find the best individuals who are full-time students to set up teams to represent FTU – main campus to participate in the competition in Vietnam.
✪ Round 1: Open the application for registration from 10/08/2018 to 23h59′ on August 17, 2018

✪ Round 2: Test knowledge, logical thinking + Essay writing (in English) on August 19, 2018.
Form: Candidates do paper-based tests, complete exam questions in English including forms of testing, analysis and situation solving, essay writing (according to CFA standards)
✪ Round 3: Interview on August 21, 2018
Form: Personal interview in English
